2 Day Paediatric First Aid Training Course
(Also available as a combined face to face / online blended course).
Our 2 day Paediatric / child First Aid training course can be carried out in house, at your venue, for 3 or more candidates. These first aid training courses are in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meet the needs of Ofsted. Suitable for Child-minders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in-depth course.
This course is also available as a blended course, which is an excellent approved alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to spend two days in a classroom only course. This is done with our video-based online course that is completed before attending a full day in the classroom with an instructor to complete the practical part of the course.
All our trainers are experienced Paramedics as well as qualified trainers, which ensures informative, real life training.
The syllabus includes:
- Principals & Practice of First Aid
- Primary & Secondary Survey
- Child & Baby Resuscitation (CPR & AED)
- Child & Baby Choking
- Causes of Unconsciousness
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Extremity Injuries
- Burns & Scalds
- Eye & Ear Injuries

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment. Those delegates who complete the course, and are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.
