Emergency Paediatric First Aid – 1 day training course
Our Emergency Paediatric First Aid training can be carried out in house, at your venue, for 3 or more candidates. These first aid training courses are in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meet the needs of Ofsted for the 1-day course.
All our trainers are experienced Paramedics as well as qualified trainers, which ensures informative, real-life training.
The syllabus includes:
- Principals & Practice of First Aid
- Primary & Secondary Survey
- Child & Baby Resuscitation (CPR & AED)
- Child & Baby Choking
- Causes of Unconsciousness
- Wounds & Bleeding
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment. Those delegates who complete the course, and are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.
